054: big sur

had a long entry describing the long weekend we spent in big sur; the remarkable beauty and epic surf in this area which happens on the right day. decided instead to keep my mouth shut and keep locations un-named. explore, perhaps you’ll find it… and be rewarded if you are lucky like I was.

morning and afternoon sessions at this deep and cold water reef, followed by steak and hot tub, and sleeping in a tree. best surf (and trip) I’ve had in a long time. truly sublime.
